About

Brandon Ferguson, originally from Seattle (USA), has been a language teacher since 2002. She specializes in preparing students for high-stakes English exams such as Cambridge FCE, Cambridge CAE, IELTS and TOEFL®. She loves helping students expand their vocabulary, improve their pronunciation and become more confident English speakers.

She started out as a teaching assistant at the University of Virginia in the Center for American English Language and Culture, giving ESL classes to graduate students from China and South Korea, and in the Department of Spanish, Italian and Portuguese, teaching intermediate Spanish to undergraduate students. She then taught high school Spanish for a year before relocating to Madrid to finish her Master's in Spanish.

While in Madrid she taught at various language schools, including Instituto Internacional en España, and then founded a small exam prep business, Test Prep Madrid, where she successfully prepared over 300 students for the TOEFL® iBT, Cambridge FCE and Cambridge CAE exams. She also taught business English to Spanish executives.

Brandon is fluent in Spanish and passed the DELE Superior exam (C2) in 2007. She is married and lives in Dublin.
